Melanie S. Corwin has enjoyed a successful legal career handling sophisticated corporate, securities, and employment law matters, including complex and class action litigation. Ms. Corwin has practiced in the securities and corporate governance fields since 1990, including prosecuting securities fraud class actions and shareholder derivative actions and advising on proxy contests and board governance matters.

Ms. Corwin also represents public companies in a variety of matters, including corporate governance issues, shareholder relations, and compliance with the Securities and Exchange Act and stock exchange rules. She advises companies on good corporate governance practices, assisting clients in proactively preventing shareholder problems, and responding to shareholder proposals or complaints when they occur.

An AV rated attorney, Ms. Corwin is admitted to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio, Kentucky, and American Bar Associations.
