Profile
Paul M. De Marco is a civil litigator who has practiced since 1989 with Waite, Schneider, Bayless & Chesley. Prior to joining the firm, he was associated with an appellate law firm in Beverly Hills, California, and served as a law clerk for two California appellate judges.

Mr. De Marco's areas of concentration are appellate practice, class actions, and other complex litigation. He has been actively involved in successful litigation related to the U.S. Department of Energy's Fernald nuclear weapons plant, the Lucasville (Ohio) prison riot, Lloyd's of London, Holocaust-related claims against Swiss and Austrian banks, the Bankers Trust derivative scheme, Cincinnati's Aronoff Center, and defective childhood vaccines, among others.

On January 1, 2012, the Ohio State Bar Association announced that Mr. DeMarco was certified as a specialist in Appellate Law. Mr. DeMarco is one of only three Ohio attorneys to be certified in Appellate Law. In order to become certified, Mr. DeMarco had to pass an extensive examination, devote a large part of his practice to Appellate Law, and receive substantial advanced Continuing Legal Education in that specialty. Mr. DeMarco has served as Waite, Schneider, Bayless & Chesley Co.'s appellate expert for more than 20 years.
